Wahoo! I finally pulled the trigger on a new bike this year. I finally picked a Trek Domane 5.9 62cm with Ultegra Di2 electronic shifting.  I wanted a Cannondale Supersix EVO but due to some silly rules I. Can't get a bike shop in Japan to ship anything larger than a 58cm frame here. I found out that this applies to other frames also like Felt, Cervelo and I believe Scott. So I'm moving to an all carbon frame from 17 years of aluminum. We shall see how well I like it and if it can't help me become a better more efficient rider. I ordered the duotap module, an 11-32t rear cassette and I will see about getting the longest cranks possible for it. So far I think I can only go to 175.2mm cranks. Imhave 180s, I believe, on my old bike and I think it made climbing easier. Well I should get the bike by 19 March and I ordered a new back so I can commute to work regularly. I hope to ride at least 3 days a week to work and long rides on Saturday. Hopefully that will start burning the excess baggage around the middle. I'll post pictures as soon as I get the finished product.
